Donations and Support

Whilst the rules for an MP in registering gifts and donations mean I am not required to register any funding received below £1500 in one calendar year, in the interest of transparency and accountability I have decided to publish on my website details of any and all donations my office receives each financial year. I am extremely grateful to the following organisations for their support for these events and activities.

April 2012

I received a donation from Unison of under £500 to pay for room hire, provide refreshments and materials for the Youth Crime workshop attended by 200 young people from across London at the Paddington Arts Centre on April 21 2012.

March 2012

I received a donation from CH2M Hill of under £1000 to provide tea and coffee for job seekers in Walthamstow who attended my Jobs Fair on 30 March 2012. Waltham Forest College also enabled this event to take place by offering the free use of their main hall for this purpose.

CH2MHill also provided a School Trip to Shrek for the Class of the winning Christmas Card design, costing  under £1000.

In 2010 and 2011 I received several donations of varying amounts to print my annual Christmas Card, the details of which were also recorded on the card itself.
