Can you help me practise speaking Urdu?

| | Comments (0)

I believe communication needs to be two way. That's why I've been taking Urdu lessons so that I can talk about the priorities for Walthamstow with many of our local residents. I'm struck that like with German the verb goes at the end of the sentence. As I learn more verbs and phrases I wondered if this was an odd linguistic anomaly or occurs in other languages too.

I'm also learning a little Guajarati but at present my grammar isn't good enough to compare! I'm always looking for people to practise my language skills with locally so if you'd like to help me improve my Urdu please do get in touch.
