Supporting the Forest Philharmonic and Walthamstow Festival - Help needed!

|

At the Walthamstow Festival on the 2nd September 2007 I'm organising a stall to raise funds for the Forest Philharmonic.  Founded in 1964, it is rated as one the country's leading community orchestras. It is a performance and training orchestra with members drawn from diverse backgrounds including music students, teachers, freelancers and amateurs. The group face a number of financial difficulties so the stall will raise funds to help ensure the Orchestra can keep playing in Walthamstow. The stall will be at the High Street end of Cleveland Park Avenue and is kindly being supported by the Cleveland Park Residents Association (http://www.clevelandpark.co.uk/) as well as local Labour party members. It will be next to the What's Cookin' music stage, which will showcase the best in London's country and western scene. Assuming the weather is as good as the forecast, it should be a great day out in Walthamstow and an opportunity to raise some vital funds for a good cause. Please let me know if you are able to help with either donations of cake or time on the day to help serve and look forward to seeing you there!
